Zdeněk Rykr and the chocolate factory

Today, Zdenek Rykr is ranked among the most original artists of the first half of the 20th century in Bohemia. The wide range of Rykr's creativity shows the incredible creative energy of an artist who did not stand still and was always looking for new challenges. If the public currently knows anything about Zdenek Rykr, it is unfortunately still only indirect.

Most of the time, neither his work nor his fate tells her anything, but she can recognize the texture of a Kofila chocolate bar. Many consumers of this delicious confection have no idea that Rykr is the author of the graphic design of Kofila, as well as the string font Orion or the Orion star. His connection to the chocolate factory was so exceptional in the Czech environment that it became the main motif of this publication.
