Prague on the threshold of modernity

Powerful construction industry of the second half of the 19th century. century, the architectural character of some Prague neighborhoods was literally predetermined, and many Praguers are surrounded by the backdrops of classicism, romanticism, historicism and the emerging Art Nouveau literally at every turn. A new walk through Prague, lined with contemporary black-and-white photographs of buildings, leads through the districts of the historical core of the capital city - Old and New Town, Mala Strana, Hradčany, Josefov and Vyšehrad - as well as the parts that surround them - Holešovice-Bubny, Karlín, Žižkov, Královské Vinohrady, Smíchov , Bubenčí - and as a bonus Dejvice, Střešovice and Dolní Libocí.
