Lumír the bear, the main character of this children's book, accompanies the reader through the entire beekeeping year: from underwintering to honey collection. Where do bees get wax to build their work, what is propolis and what is it used for, how does the bee community work and who does what in the hive...

The debut artist's book is intended for all young readers and their parents who like honey and would like to learn something about the craft of beekeeping. Aneta Františka Holasová (1985) is currently studying illustration and graphics at the Faculty of Art and Design of the ZČU in Pilsen.
